Equivalent Levels of Play:

Division Definition: This division is designed with an element of competition and striving to win, but with the understanding that sportsmanship, camaraderie, and personal development remain essential.

Division Focus: The primary focus is on fun, fitness, and social interaction in a high-performance environment. This division offers an opportunity for skilled players to continue playing competitively, while still emphasizing enjoyment and a community-based environment.

Recommended For: The Elite division is designed for advanced players who typically began playing in youth hockey and continued through high school or college. They have received detailed levels of coaching, have strong hockey abilities, adapt well during games, and are comfortable in fast-paced, strategically complex, and highly competitive games.

COMPETITIVE

WHAM: B2/B3/C1
Hockey Finder: 2.5 - 3.4

Division Definition: This division is designed with an element between competition and enjoyment. While players strive to win and play competitively, the intensity is lower than in the Elite Division, creating a more accessible and inclusive environment.

Division Focus: The primary focus is on skill development, teamwork, and moderately competitive play. This division provides a supportive setting for players to refine their abilities, stay active, and engage in a spirited but friendly atmosphere. Games are structured to encourage improvement and camaraderie while maintaining a manageable level of competition. and foster a sense of community.

Recommended For: The Competitive Division is designed for players with moderate experience and a solid understanding of hockey fundamentals. Participants may have played at the high school, recreational, or junior levels and are comfortable with structured team play and strategy. The gameplay strikes a balance between competition and fun.

FOUNDATIONS

Equivalent Levels of Play:
WHAM: C2/C3/Novice
Hockey Finder: 1 - 2.4

To support the growth and development of our participants, we offer a rotating schedule that alternates weeks between instructional coaching sessions one week and game play the following week. Instead of weekly games, players will have dedicated coaching every other week to focus on building skills and confidence.

Division Definition: This division is designed for newer players who are learning the game and building confidence on the ice. The emphasis is on providing a welcoming and supportive environment where the intensity is low, and the focus is on personal growth and enjoyment.

Division Focus: The primary focus is on fun, fitness, and skill development, offering a casual and inclusive setting for players new to hockey. This division prioritizes learning the basics of the game, improving foundational skills, and fostering social interaction while encouraging a sense of community and a love for the sport.

Recommended For: The Foundations Division is designed for beginners or players with limited hockey experience. The focus is on learning, teamwork, and having fun, with a slower pace and less emphasis on advanced skills. It’s an inclusive environment designed to help new players develop their abilities and confidence on the ice.
